EN ISO 20471 Class 2 (UK & Ireland)
Class 2 high-visibility gear delivers an intermediate level of conspicuity—ideal for moderate-risk environments such as urban roadworks, logistics yards, and utilities. These workwear combine fluorescent fabric for daytime visibility with retro-reflective tape that “pops” under headlights at night.
What this means for you
Certified to EN ISO 20471, Class 2 (Europe/UK standard).
More visible than Class 1; less bulky than Class 3—great for everyday use.
Typical formats include vests, jackets, trousers and work shorts with 360° banding and leg/shoulder tape.
Branding or printed logos don’t count towards the hi-vis area, so compliant designs keep key zones clear.
