6 Series Trousers

If the product code begins with the digit ‘6’ they are from the ‘6’ series family. This includes all of our new Next Generation Trousers and the new Service Line collection. i.e. 6203 RuffWork trousers.

What’s in a size?

Why is it so important to make sure you wear a pair of work trousers that are the right size for you? Not only could you be uncomfortable all day long but you could be at risk from an injury. It is important to make sure that trousers are the right length for you so that the kneepad pockets are in the correct position for when wearing kneepads. Otherwise your knees will not be fully protected when kneeling which could result in an unnecessary injury.

Wearing the correct size will also help the trousers to last longer as it avoids potential straining and fraying of the fabrics.

That is why Snickers Workwear produces over 40 sizes of trousers as standard which are available across 5 different leg lengths. We can also produce additional sizes which are available to order on request.

You know it makes sense. Get the right fit, Snickers Workwear, Wear the Difference.

The Fit

3 Series

Trousers in the 3 series family are loose fitting styles with a generous waist measurement. The length is designed to sit below the ankle

6 Series

Trousers in the 6 series family are slim fit styles designed to sit close to the waist, hips and legs. The 6 series trousers are approx 1” shorter than the 3 series styles in length as they are designed to sit on top of the safety boot or shoe. They are not designed to touch the ground or reach the bottom of the heel.

How to choose the right size

1. Measure

If you are planning on buying Snickers Workwear Trousers for the first time or you are changing trouser styles to 6 series you should always re—measure before purchasing.

What are your body measurements? You will need to measure your waist and inside leg. To get the most accurate reading you should always ask somebody else to measure for you.

WAIST

Wrap the measuring tape firmly around your waist, against your skin or body-tight underwear.

INSIDE LEG

Measure without footwear on and firmly extend to the base of the foot.

2. Size Guide

Choose the style of trousers which you would like to purchase, and depending on whether the product code starts with a ‘3’ or a ‘6’ look up your sizes on the size guide as shown below.

Remember all measurements in the guide are body measurements, not the measurements of the garment.
